We are pleased to welcome Julian Fischer, who joined the CRC 1333 in late October as a post-doctoral researcher in project C08-2, working with Thomas Sottmann.
Julian studied Chemistry and Mathematics at the University of Stuttgart, aiming to become a teacher. He has already completed his doctoral research under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Sottmann, with the title of his thesis being “New Insights into the Shear-Induced Structural Transformation of Bicontinuous Microemulsions”.
Within the CRC 1333, Julian will focus on the characterization of mesoporous materials using scattering methods.
