Samuel Van Gele, CRC 1333 doctoral researcher and passionate science communicator, has conceptualized and developed a photo exhibit that showcases the science performed at the
Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research. The interactive exhibit was displayed in the Stuttgart City Hall during the Stuttgart Science Festival, which took place from October 11-22, 2024.
Visitors were invited to explore not only the fascinating science but also the stories of the scientists behind the research. The exhibit’s striking images were selected through an internal photo contest, with two CRC members, Timo Manitz and Esengül Ciftci, contributing captivating pictures of MOFs (metal-organic frameworks) that brought the beauty of science into the heart of the city.
