Module: Confident Scientific Presentation – body, voice, arguments
Lecturer: Dr. Jane Bormeister
For the science of the future, we need lecturers who can present their topics confidently. In addition to competence in content and expertise, it’s how you speak and present that matters, how you speak and present: Content is conveyed through the person – body, voice, emotions. In this workshop we will train how to present your arguments, how to use your body and your voice. Convincingly and authentically. Speaking is fun. That is what we
train. We will get to know each other starting off with a workshop. After a short introduction round we would like to know more about your research. Therefore we ask you to bring or prepare a presentation on your research. PIease feel free to work on a current presentation you are working on at the moment (a contribution to a conference, lecture, science slam,…) or choose a more popular format you always wanted to try out (PechaKucha, science slam, science comedy,…).
This workshop is part of the Development Program for Women in Science on the Postdoc Level organized by the Pooling University of Stuttgart. Please find further information on the program on ILIAS.
All female CRC 1333 Postdocs are cordially invited.
Please register for the workshop via Mail indicating that you are part of CRC 1333.
