Topic: Probing Active Species in Catalysis – Application of Advanced X-ray Techniques
Moniek Tromp is Professor of Materials Chemistry at the University of Groningen. Her research focuses on the development and application of operando spectroscopy techniques in catalysis and materials research (incl. fuel cells, batteries, photo-chemistry, as well as arts) with a focus on X-ray spectroscopy techniques. Application of the techniques to fundamentally or industrially interesting processes and materials has been pursued, providing unprecedented insights in material properties and reaction mechanisms. She has been awarded prestigious fellowships/awards like the EPSRC Advanced Research Fellowship (UK), the NWO VIDI and the NWO Athena award (NLD).
The CRC cordially invites all who are interested to the lecture.
